The Ocean Calls
If you grow up along the beach, you know that every so often the ocean summons you. Like a mermaid’s song, it calls from within. It’s a certain kind of homesickness- that feeling that you need to return to yourself.
It’s a bond you develop after you’ve lived along the coast for a long time.
The ocean reminds us that we are small the the world is very, very big. The ultimate manifestation of nature, the ocean is strong, constant, changing, steady, turbulent, grave, powerful, quiet, fragile, loud, playful, but most of all, beautiful.
So if you are lucky enough to live near the water, enjoy it this weekend. Have fun; life is beautiful.
